Boggy Bayou Mullet Festival
Friday, October 16 - 18th, 2009Location: Niceville (208 North Partin Drive)
This annual festival is known for it's live top name bands, arts & crafts, delicious foods (over 60 booths) featuring Mullet in all varieties, "Miss Mullet" pageant, rides, contest, games, & much more. It's definately worth the drive to Niceville.
D'WONS will be there featuring some of his famous cajun dishes such as; fish tacos, jambalaya, & crab cakes. Helen Back pizza will be there too!

D'WONS Bayou Buffet will be participating at this fine event! D'WON threw together a pretty tasty menu... Red River Ribs (with D'wons famous sopin sauce) & Blackened Pork Tenderloin with Cheese Grits & Black Berry Gravy sound good? YUMMY! And it all goes good with beer too!!
Foundations Youth Charity a Success
This is the Emerald Coast Foundations mission statement for a reason. The Foundation has always been characterized by their common dedication & compassion to a cause that remains an especially worthy charity.
Through the 2009 Emerald Coast Poker Run, it was guaranteed to be a success this year. Approximately $92,500 was raised and donated to various local youth organizations. On behalf of the foundation; We would like to sincerely thank those who participated!
Without your help it would not have been possible to give the type of contribution that these programs require to run. Because of you, our youth will have a brighter future through productive experiences, encouragement, & opportunity.
This year the contributions went to the following charities:
- Eleanor Johnson Youth Center
- YMCA
- Boys & Girls Club
- Horizons
- Children in Crisis
- Florida's Sherriff's Youth Ranch
- The Emerald Coast Marine Institute
